NZXT H9 Flow Plus - Dual-Chamber Layout and Dust Mesh Chassis Review @ Guru3D

Published: | Posted By:

Guru3D described the H9 Flow RGB Plus as a roomy, dual-chamber mid-tower that blends clean aesthetics with excellent airflow performance. The front panel features a pentagon-patterned steel mesh that covers three 140 mm intake fans (or a 420 mm radiator), while a tempered glass side panel shows off the internal layout. A secondary chamber hides the PSU, drives, and cables, keeping the main section tidy and cool. The included F420 RGB fan modules simplify installation and are managed by an onboard controller, which works seamlessly with NZXT CAM software for fan speed and lighting control. Built-in cable routing features, Velcro straps, and tool-less SSD trays enhance both usability and appearance.

The NZXT H9 Flow introduces a dual-chamber chassis designed to accommodate high-performance components while addressing airflow and cable-management challenges. Building on the pentagonal design concept from the smaller H6 Flow, the H9 Flow retains the angled front panel (“kink”) pattern, which increases surface area for ventilation. The case is scheduled for availability concurrent with Computex 2025 to coincide with new component launches. The layout supports full-size motherboards, large radiators, and multiple storage drives. Internally, the dual-chamber configuration separates the power supply and cable runs from the main component area, reducing interior clutter and improving thermal performance.

When building and testing, Guru3D noted the case accommodated large ATX or E-ATX motherboards, big GPUs and up to 420 mm radiators without issue. The dual-chamber design and top and bottom filters helped maintain airflow and keep temperatures solid under load. The mesh panels and rubber dampers added quiet operation even when fans ramped up. While the case is somewhat larger and higher in price compared to some rivals, it delivers a professional, minimalist look, excellent cooling headroom and a clean build experience that will appeal to enthusiasts and custom loop builders.
