  • XFX Radeon RX 9060 XT Swift OC review @ Guru3D

Published: Monday, June 9, 2025 | By: Eddie

Guru3D has published a comprehensive review of the XFX Radeon RX 9060 XT Swift OC, positioning it firmly in the mid-range. Powered by the Navi 44 XT chip with 2,048 stream processors and 32 RDNA 4 compute units, the card sports dual/tri-fan cooling, boosts up to 3.32 GHz, and includes 8 GB or 16 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 128-bit bus  Priced around US $349, it competes tightly with Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB, delivering consistent 60+ FPS in Full HD gaming—even with ray tracing enabled—while maintaining efficient power use (~160–185 W total board power) and staying relatively cool (70–75 °C) and quiet (~35 dBA) under load The card’s PCIe 5.0 interface and ample DisplayPort 2.1a/HDMI 2.1b outputs increase its appeal.

XFX’s Swift OC lineup brings the RX 9060 XT to market in several flavors. You can pick a standard black model or get a white-shrouded version, and both come in either 8 GB or 16 GB GDDR6 configurations. The cooling solution is identical across the board: choose between two fans or three fans, all with multiple heat pipes and dense fins. Each card carries a “game clock” of 2780 MHz and can boost up to 3320 MHz.

XFX keeps the Swift OC variants uniform: same PCB, VRAM speed, and clock profiles regardless of memory size or color (black or white), though the Swift OC models draw about 20 W more than AMD’s reference, which could lead to warmer temps if case airflow is lacking The 16 GB version is better suited for handling high-res textures and content creation, while also offering about a 6% advantage in average frame rates over the RTX 5060 Ti, per AMD  Guru3D notes that the card also supports modern features like DirectX 12 async compute, ray tracing acceleration, AI-driven FSR 4 upscaling with its 2nd-gen AI cores, and offers good tweaking headroom through tools like MSI AfterBurner  In summary, the RX 9060 XT Swift OC delivers strong Full HD performance, smart feature support, and efficient cooling, all for a competitive mid-range price.

  • AQIRYS Andromeda Pro Headset Review @ TechPowerUp

Published: Saturday, June 7, 2025 | By: Eddie

TechPowerUp recently reviewed the AQIRYS Andromeda Pro, a $105 wireless gaming headset that focuses on delivering a straightforward user experience paired with solid audio performance. Equipped with 53 mm titanium-coated drivers, the headset offers excellent stereo imaging and directional accuracy, making it a strong contender for gaming use. It features a familiar and comfortable design reminiscent of the HyperX Cloud Alpha and includes two sets of ear pads pleather for better noise isolation and cloth for breathability. The 2.4 GHz wireless connection via USB Type-A dongle is stable and responsive, and the battery lasts up to 35 hours on a single charge, though recharging is rather slow at over four hours.

The AQIRYS Andromeda Pro is a $105 wireless gaming headset with an understated design, oversized 53 mm titanium drivers, and a strong focus on absolute ease of use, to the extent that it doesn't even come with a software driver.

In terms of build and comfort, TechPowerUp found the Andromeda Pro to be well-constructed and suitable for long sessions, with a detachable microphone that performs decently for casual voice chat. However, the lack of software support means users can’t monitor battery levels or adjust sound profiles, which may be a drawback for some. The headset also does not support wired connections or include a USB-C dongle, limiting compatibility with certain devices. Despite these omissions, the Andromeda Pro stands out in its price category for delivering clear audio, comfort, and dependable wireless functionality with minimal fuss.

  • Sapphire RX 9070 XT Pulse @ LanOC Reviews

Published: Friday, June 6, 2025 | By: Eddie

LanOC Reviews recently examined the Sapphire RX 7900 XT Pulse, a mid-tier graphics card that balances performance and practicality. Built on AMD's RDNA 3 architecture, it features 84 compute units, 20GB of GDDR6 memory, and a boost clock up to 2450 MHz. The card's design is understated, with a black shroud accented by red lines and a full metal backplate, deliberately omitting RGB lighting to appeal to users preferring a minimalist aesthetic. Its triple-fan cooling system ensures efficient thermal management, and the inclusion of a metal anti-sag bracket adds structural support. Connectivity options include two HDMI and two DisplayPort outputs, catering to various display setups. The card's dimensions (313mm length, 133.75mm height, and 52.67mm thickness) make it suitable for most mid-sized cases.

AMDs RX 9070 launch, even through availability issues and questions on pricing has been exciting. I previously took a look at the stock-clocked Steel Legend and was impressed. Sapphire also sent over their stock-clocked RX 9070 XT Pulse and while I was impressed with ASRock’s offering, if anyone can outdo it, Sapphire can. Over the years they always still manage to find a way to impress so I’m excited to see what the RX 9070 XT Pulse has to offer and to see how it performs. So let’s dive in and see what sets the Pulse apart before getting to testing!

The 7900 XT Pulse delivers a modest 2-3% improvement over AMD's reference model, attributed to its slight factory overclock and enhanced cooling. In synthetic benchmarks like 3DMark's Fire Strike and Time Spy, it competes closely with NVIDIA's RTX 4070 Ti, occasionally surpassing it in certain tests. However, its ray tracing capabilities lag behind NVIDIA's offerings, as seen in Port Royal and Speed Way benchmarks. The card's power consumption averages 386W, peaking at 412W, which is higher than the reference model, resulting in slightly lower efficiency. Despite this, its noise levels are commendably low, registering just 37.9 decibels under load, thanks to a fan profile tuned for quiet operation. With a current price of $869.99, down from its original $999.99 MSRP, the Sapphire RX 7900 XT Pulse offers a compelling option for gamers seeking solid 4K performance without the premium features and price tag of higher-end models.

  • Cooler Master MasterLiquid Core II 360 White All-in-One Liquid Cooler Review @ APH Networks

Published: Tuesday, June 3, 2025 | By: Eddie

APH Networks recently reviewed the Cooler Master MasterLiquid Core II 360 White, highlighting it as a visually appealing and budget-friendly all-in-one liquid cooler. Featuring a 360mm aluminum radiator, three pre-installed 120mm ARGB fans, and an eye-catching infinity mirror pump block, the cooler supports the latest Intel and AMD sockets, including LGA1851 and AM5. Installation is user-friendly, aided by labeled mounting hardware and sufficient tubing length.
